we get to Ohio and drive from Dayton to East Liverpool we played with Bugs
and then when the son in law shows up and you mention fireworks he gets this
look on his face like

So then they say you wanna go for a little ride to the
Fireworks Store? So were all off in two cars to
to get a few fireworks
So
we ended up shooting off rockets like in the movie.
We also went to the Greyhound Station which was in the
movie
Because
Pam's son was off to North Carolina to visit friends. He also was working on
getting scholarships like n the movie.
Then Pam and I were off to West Virginia to the very
area where the boys in the movie were from near my father's town.
Also
much of the father/son expectations in West Virginia were played out in this
movie and relates to even my father and I.
Another synch with this movie was that I worked in the
military as a Pershing Missile Technician

My father was always "Dreaming outside the local
beliefs" as most grow up to work in the coal mines in WV. And many felt
that electronics was evil when I was young visiting the area. Now this is a
quote from the movie and also sounds like the passion of my father.
